Great bit of kit, nice and comfy for horse and human! I use it with a girth extension because my horse is big (17hh). The girth provided probably would reach just about but I like the straps to be easier to find when mounted. I don't really use the stirrups much because I worry they'd put too much stress across his back in anything above a walk, and I prefer riding without stirrups anyway, but they are fine and it's easy to attach different stirrups if you wanted to.
