Super light children's riding hat with horse head print. Variable fit thanks to size adjustment dial at the back. The air vents have integrated insect guards and guarantee ideal circulation. The inner lining is removable and machine washable at 30° C.
Conforms with the VG1-01.040 2014-12 safety standard, which we recommend for leisure riders. When competing, please check with the organiser whether this safety standard is allowed.

Not suitable for riding as it's not kite marked or PAS tested. Riding schools in the UK will not allow riders to wear these hats so a pointless buy.
Hat looks of good quality but is not actually covered under the latest horse riding standards, can not be used for shows

This product suits my needs. My daughter is only 2 years old and we needed something that was lightweight and could grow with her while she is being led around. This hat is perfect for this.
We buy these hats for use with Riding for the Disabled and are probably used only 16/17 times a year. They are very good value for our purpose as RDA have a quick turnaround for insurance purposes. We would not recommend them for constant fast work, e.g. advanced X-C or hunting and are only suitable for children or light adults.
We have now purchased 15 of these Children's Riding Hats for use in Riding for the Disabled, which should be a sufficiently good recommendation! They are very good value and perfect for us. RDA makes us renew our hats every 3-5 years and we do not do any fast or competitive jumping so do not need very expensive hats.
Excellent starter hat fits well and nice and light for littlie ones also combines as a cycle helmet too the little ones love the colour choices and the horses head or the unicorn
