More safety is simply not possible. This riding hat combines the lightness of an inmould riding hat with the tried and tested Multi-Directional Impact Protection System. Developed in Sweden, MIPS is based on the idea of protecting the human brain from rotational movements in the event of an accident. For this purpose, a movable second shell is mounted between the inner padding and outer shell in the riding hat, which rests directly on the head and can be adjusted in height and width for an optimum fit. The safety benefit: if you hit your head at an angle in the event of a fall, the resulting rotational force is not transferred to your head but is absorbed by the movement of the MIPS inner shell. In addition, the ergonomic riding hat design with a low-cut hat shell at the back of the head guarantees additional impact protection. Particularly clever: the ponytail cut, which makes wearing the riding hat with long hair even more comfortable.
Conforms with EN1384:2023 safety standard. When competing, please check with the organizer if this standard is accepted.
