Supplement for horses. Numerous studies have shown that hawthorn has a positive effect on the strength of the heart, the blood flow in the heart muscle as well as the blood flow to other internal organs, a stable heart rhythm and blood pressure balance. Thus, it can have a performance-enhancing and activating effect on the horse's cardiovascular system. The flowers are also said to have the following properties: they are said to have a calming, anti-inflammatory, diuretic and fever-reducing effect. In addition, hawthorn strengthens the body's defences due to its high vitamin C content. Ideally suited for seniors suffering from extreme heat or weather changes or horses with poor circulation.
Feeding recommendation:
Horses: (600 kg bw) 40 - 60g daily
Cobs: 20 - 40g daily
1 heaped tablespoon corresponds to approx. 5g.
Add dry or brewed with the decoction to the feed.
Ingredients: 100% hawthorn leaves with blossoms.
Note: Store feed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consume soon after opening.
