Supplement for horses, which can support the intestinal flora and stimulate digestion. Carob comes from the carob tree, which belongs to the legume family. According to tradition, the ancient Romans fed carob to their horses as a reward. Thanks to its sweet taste, it is usually well accepted and offers an optimal, doping-free alternative to conventional treats. It contains hardly any fat, but many natural minerals such as potassium and iron, easily digestible carbohydrates and valuable A and B vitamins, which can have a positive effect on the immune system. Carob can also stimulate the appetite and is therefore ideally suited as a supplement when feeding poor doers. Thanks to its digestion-regulating effect, it is also well suited for horses prone to colic.
